Chicken
Yeeeeeeaaaah... started having second thoughts about killing my cardbus card. It's so cute. So sexy. What a shame to bust it.
Either way - http://www.nodedb.com/africa/za/pretoria/view.php?nodeid=37&lang=en my node is almost ready. Have all the equipment. Just have to put everything together, do a bit of drilling etc.
All of this while writing my BSc. exams...
My router has been hooked up to an external antenna, thanks to http://www.hiconnex.co.za/ for giving me one of their sample u.fl connectors. :)
Damn Telkom. I don't want to wait till December for ADSL!!! MUST HAVE NOW!!

I want to mod my Netgear WG511T!
I want to attach an external antenna to this baby - but I don't know how. So right now I'm scouring the internet, and on monday, I'll ask the opinion of some engineers....
As you can see in the picture, there's a little connector/switch - but that's used for testing. So I'll have to go a soldering. I just don't know where to solder the wire on though...
Sigh. Ignorance isn't always bliss.
