Where I live
I loves Google earth!!!
I've been wasting hours the last week, flying around the planet, visiting places I've been to, and want to go visit.
My urge to buy a nice GPS device has never been stronger. With the help of Johan I now at least have a hacked GPS that I can use in my car.... sigh.....

Fish with skin disease
I will always wonder. Could I have saved the fish?
I monitored it for two weeks, and it's condition grew worse and worse. I was constantly afraid the other fish might get what this one had - but decided to take the risk....
Whatever was wrong with it didn't spread. But, after two weeks - I had to accept - the fish was not getting better.
Euthinasia was grim. I had none of the correct equipment. In the end I had to settle for a bottle on J&B (put to sleep & dull the pain) and a pot of boiling water (kill) and a knife (I've seen pet cemetary! Ain't coming back without a head!!!)
It was all rather horrible. I have grown very attached to the fish.
Sigh.
You will be missed. Fish.

Enter the web site
Every nerd has a web site.
It usually contains some pointless personal details, a list of links to current hobbies / interests (usually some weird pet project like a paper clip collection), a link to the nerds vc, and a goofy looking photo of said nerd wearing a plaid shirt and thick rimmed black glasses.
Not to be outdone by me fellow nerds, I too have decided it's high time to have my own site!!
Thus, born, rising from the ashes like a pheonix, to be better than ever before... Planet Sybrand
Now I can document my exploits (yeah right, boring nerd!) with the combined power of blog and website!
